3M Rugged Comfort Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6503 for Large

The NIOSH-approved 6503 respirator, tested and approved by the USA federal government regulatory agency NIOSH, can be used with 3M cartridges, filters, or supplied air systems to help reduce the inhalation of certain airborne contaminants.

Featuring a resilient textured silicone faceseal, this respirator helps provide comfort, durability, and stability with a soft but firm seal. The faceseal keeps its shape even in hot work conditions.

Equipped with a proprietary Cool Flow Valve, the respirator helps reduce heat and moisture. The exhalation valve cover directs exhaled breath and moisture downward, helping to prevent fogging of eyewear and grinding and welding shields.

Designed with a low-profile, half-facepiece design, the respirator offers a wider field of view and better compatibility with welding and grinding shields.

The 4-point head harness assembly is adjustable, providing an improved fit and enhanced comfort for the user.

This respirator is recommended for use in a variety of industries, including construction, general manufacturing, heavy infrastructure, industrial maintenance, mining, oil and gas, and transportation, among others.

For filtration, the 6503 is designed for use with bayonet connection cartridges and filters. Specifically, it can be used with 3M 6000 Series Gas/Vapor Cartridges to help filter a broad range of gases and vapors, as well as 3M Particle Filters from the 2000, 2200, 7000, or 5000 Series to filter certain particulates.
